Yellow Belt is helpful but not required. The Green Belt course covers all fundamentals before advancing to statistical topics.
The Certificate of Completion requires only the exam. The full Certified Green Belt credential requires passing the exam AND completing one real DMAIC project. Most employers and CSSC expect the project-based certification.
